Natural materials are the main ingredients in the classic Idre Wool Mitt. As a mitten, it traps more air than a glove, making it ideal if you are prone to cold fingers. The lining is merino wool blend with Lavalan – a warming Swedish wool and corn starch insulation. The exterior is made of ski nappa, a soft and supple leather that has been treated to give similar durability and water resistance to cowhide. [/br] The design is minimalist, with a wide integral elasticated band at the top of the wrist. The width is adjusted with Velcro, and there are attachment points for a wrist strap (accessory). The reMix Mitt is a hardwearing mitten made from waste materials – treated goatskin and cowhide which wouldn’t otherwise be used in ordinary production. Using leather with minor visual defects or variations in colour is a way of helping to reduce waste without compromising on function or quality. The design is classic with a short cuff and elasticated wrist, with sections in contrasting colours creating an attractive, unique look. The wool liner is removable, making it easy to wash or dry.
